The Grade 100 eye self-locking hooks TWN 1836 are used to assemble chain slings and are also used in the construction industry. The round steel chains may be assembled with connecting links, e.g. XL-LOKs TWN 1820. When the hooks are under load, they lock automatically. They may only be reopened manually, when the hooks are not under load anymore. The manufacturing and testing requirements comply with DIN EN 1677-3 under consideration of Grade 100 working load limits.
